When I first started blogging, a good friend of mine sent me an email. The subject of the email read, “Check this out”. In the email was a link to Red Ted Art, and a message, “Since you’ve started blogging about kids activities, you may want to take a look at this”.

Look at it I did, and I loved it! Red Ted Art is filled with the most adorable crafts for kids.

Red Ted Art Easy Kids Crafts Book

Maggy, the super crafty lady behind Red Ted Art has just published a book, Red Ted Art: Cute and Easy Crafts for Kids.

To give you a sneak peek of her book, Maggy has generously provided Lessons Learnt Journal readers with a FREE printable excerpt from her awesome new book so you can make this super cute hobby horse from a sock. A SOCK! I kid you not! (A sock bunny is as crafty as we get in our home, but with inspiration from Maggy, I foresee a team of hobby horses galloping through our home).

My husband collects comics and has boxes of the stuff to hand down to our kids and, God willing, grandkids. I collect books, signed by authors and illustrators. I am so chuffed to add this awesome book to my collection for my kids and God willing, grandkids.
