It probably will last a few days if stored in an airtight container. Putting in the fridge may help make it last longer. If you’re looking or a play dough recipe that can last weeks in an airtight container, without the need for storage in the fridge, I would make a batch of the play dough recipe as outlined in my rosewater play dough recipe post, with or without the rosewater essence. http://lessonslearntjournal.com/homemade-play-dough-rosewater-play-dough/.
