		<description><![CDATA[Thanks for sharing your tips for taking road trips with kids.  I especially like your tips about remembering that the trip will definitely take longer than you expect that it will.  Heading into the trip without that expectation will help keep everyone on an even keel.  

The tips about having snacks and games on hand are priceless!  When my children were younger, I used to pack small goodie bags that I would give out every hour or so.  The bag included small snacks and a game  - either a puzzle or a suggestion for a game for the group to play together.
