I’ve never tried honey to replace the golden syrup, but I guess it would work. Perhaps maple syrup would also work and be a closer substitute? As for the desiccated coconut, we use unsweetened. (I didn’t know that there was such a thing as sweetened desiccated coconut.) I would love to hear how it works out for you :) Have a great Anzac Day!
